Regardless where you live, if you’ve ever seen flyers for any Pittsburgh noise show chances are you’re familiar with Henry Mallard’s project Mallard Theory.

When not playing solo he often collaborates with others such as Slacking or alongside Joe Roemer in the current live line up of Macronympha (also with his friend John Grimaldi of Hand & Knee and partner in crime operating the Detachment Programs label)...and if all that is not enough to familiarize yourself, he also had a recent discussion with Oskar Brummel on the White Centipede Noise podcast.

Continuing an epic migration through prime territory with recent titles on great labels like Fusty Cunt, Tribe Tapes and Petite Soles – “Deconstructed Porcelain Duck Machine” offers up super thick, muddy, utterly blown out and in-the-red Harsh Noise with just the right amount of high pitched mixer feedback squirming it’s way through the oppressive low end rumble (much more so on the B side, which is the more dynamic of the two tracks). This material is so dense it feels like your ear canals are being physically stuffed with sound!
